Tis the season....

I worked in the local mall for about a year back in 1999-2000. The mall ruined Christmas for me. It wasn't the shoppers, the over commercialization, PC secularization, the long hours, or the traffic. It was the music. They play Christmas music from the middle of November until the second week of January. I would be as bad if they played good, classic music instead of the Wal-mart bargain rack covers and Kenny-G. I can tone most of it out, but when Kenny-G starts playing my eye starts to twitch. This gross over extension of the holiday means that when I got home the last thing that I wanted to listen to was holiday tunes, much to my family's angst.

Really, it is a combination of the above list - it is the repetitive drivel they play that irritates me the most today.
