Automatic Safeties

Why do European shotguns have automatic safeties? I can see it on a field gun but not a target gun. Are they concerned with one of us shooing our selfs? I have guns with no safeties (except the one between my ears) and that was just fine for centuries. It is just one more thing to think about on the line.

Stupid Genious

I used to wonder how adults could believe in which craft. That was until people started calling me a 'genius' when I fixed something, or made use of some inane knowledge. All i simply did was learn how to do something; those who didn't bother are then amazed by my skill. WTF?
